My name is Joao Vitor. I studied Game Development for four years in Brazil, where I had my first contact with programming. After graduating in 2024, my colleagues and I decided to build an indie game, and in our first attempt, we were selected for an acceleration and mentorship program by the city government. Through the program, we gained access to funding, networking opportunities, and much more. This program also gave us the opportunity to showcase our project not only at Gamescom Latam, but also at Gamescom Cologne.
After learning more about the local game industry, I wanted to challenge myself and take my skills to the next level. I decided to pursue an education at one of the best game schools in the world, Vancouver Film School, where I could expand my knowledge and gain experience in an international environment.
I specialize in Unity and C#, where I have developed strong skills in problem-solving and iteration. I always strive to keep everything organized, from my code and projects in the engine to my repositories on Fork.

Be a horse mayor! Make the best choices in this casual comedy management game, try not to lose, and govern the chaotic city of Horsestown where new absurd decisions and eccentric characters await you.
I helped to code the structure of the game in prototype.

One of his greatest strengths is communication. He is approachable, easy to talk to and someone you feel comfortable working with and discussing ideas or challenges openly, he’s able to create a positive working environment wherever he is.

I had the honor of working right beside João Vitor Sonoda Rezende for the entirety of our student final project: Bloodline. More than anything else, João was an amazing problem solver as he was efficient and has a broad knowledge of programming overall.
